Prior to the creation of the Your Tomorrow website, the university’s homepage was serving a dual purpose. objectives number 1 and 2 for university marketing were to increase enrollment and to elevate the reputation of the public research university. This website allowed us to isolate and focus our objectives and to better communicate with our intended audiences. The writing and visual tone of /yourtomorrow is intended to be more youthful and conversational than we were allowed to be before when we were simultaneously impacting a more collegiate, prestigious audience.
Creating this admission focused website also allowed us to create different instances with targeted messaging (i.e. out of state, international, honors) that would tie into our digital marketing and recruitment efforts.
